Submission Guidelines

Please read all of this before submitting any work if you have any questions about any of it, contact us at info@social-i.co.uk
For poetry please send 3 to 5 original poems or short pieces of fictional or non fictional prose, with a short bio and a clear Jpeg photo of yourself to: editor@social-i.co.uk
For art please send 3 to 5 original pictures in jpeg for at 850x850 and smaller than 2.5mb, with a short bio and a clear Jpeg photo of yourself to: art-editor@social-i.co.uk
No work will be read outside of the submission deadlines and will be immediately returned to you for re-submission. Your work may be retained for a future edition of Social-i, therefore, allow 2 - 3 months for a response, although you may enquire to the editor beforehand if you want to release your work for submission elsewhere.
We regret that we cannot give feedback on your work at this time.
Upon agreeing to publication, Social-i acquires first rights, and retains the right to archive work online for an indefinite period. You therefore agree to Social-i republishing your work within the format of the magazine edition your work was accepted for at any time and in any publication format, for both the purpose of being reproduced or sold to the public under the name of Social-i.
Author retains all other rights upon publication We accept only original, unpublished work, no reprints, except in special circumstances; such as translated work or work that needs wider distribution due to specific political content or restricted distribution rights in the country where it was produced and where we have the authority of the previous publisher. Please enclose a covering letter under these circumstances.
